The Skinny on Tapered Jeans
Pun intended. Hehehe.
The Skinny Jean has been a symbol of weight-loss goal for most, if not all, women on a diet. It explains how it is, oftentimes, used as an inspiration to prod individuals on. No harm to it, I guess. As long as it doesn’t costs anyone’s sanity. Heehee.
To show my support, I just thought that since we talked about un-earthing old pairs of skinny jeans, might as well dig up old features on similar pieces.
I also remembered an incident about my utter amazement at how some people [stylists, in particular] said no to tapered jeans. I also found it real funny on just how much animosity it has generated from people who consider themselves acolytes and goddesses of fashion and style.
Hmmm. I can understand how some may not approve of the skinny’s comeback since it is a real challenge to fit into one and successfully carry it. But tapered jeans is, after all, just one of the alternatives. I guess, it’s not your typical “one size fits all” garment — if it doesn’t fit, just move on. No need to gripe about it. Hahaha. That’s why it’s better to follow one of styling’s general rules:
Dress to express and never to impress.
Vanity can be such a terrible thing. Heehee.
Capisce? Capisce.
