Summer’s almost over..

… in my part of the world. Sucks, huh?

One indication is the arrival of the country’s first storm for 2006, fondly called Caloy. It’s a nick for the name Carlo. Anyway, the past week has been filled with rain and gray skies. And they’ve started talking about school starting in a couple of weeks, some, even next week. Poor souls. Good thing I’m done with all that. Heh.

There’s an upside to the summer ending. It spells the end of the extreme heat that we’ve been experiencing. Man, it reached 37 degrees Celsius! The rain was a real blessing since it cooled us off. :) No offense to people who got the worst end of it, though.

Anyway, my point is.. as part of the last hurrah for summer, I’d like to feature this lovely, lovely bikini set. Sigh. Me love it.

TOP: Stripe Halter

I like the play of colours in the stripes and how uneven they are. The cut is fantastic. I know. It’s something I’d wear but I’m sure I’m not the only one who would. Besides, who wouldn’t love it?

I’m sure if you’re creative enough, you’ll find ways to wear this one apart from sashaying on the sands or pool decks. ;)

BOTTOM: Sash Belt Bottom

The sash belt reminds me of the swimsuits from the sixties. Or perhaps it’s just me. It’s funny how they’ve brought the sash concept to bikinis, too. It’s no longer limited to jeans, skirts or pants. Ha. :)
