Caslon Camisoles

Camisoles are often referred to as women’s underwear. However, designers have adapted the Cami-concept and used a different fabic that enabled the women to wear them as tops. And we responded and have taken a liking to wearing them nowadays . Pretty practical actually. Especially in humid countries and during warm weather. It’s a cool garment, literally and not.

Eversince they introduced Spaghetti Straps, Camisoles became a staple piece in normal day outfits and even for club wear especially if the fabric used is satin or silk and it has intricate designs.

A quick history tidbit: Camis had a great come back in the 80s when Madonna basically influenced the masses of women with her daring, sensual style.

I can’t relate to that, though. I was never a Madonna fan perhaps it’s because I was still a kid back then and a tad bit of a tomboy. Teehee.
