Crop Cigarette Pant, A Lust-Have

I’m so drawn to the Crop Cigarette Pants eversince it came out last 2003. It hasn’t really created a strong following like the rest of them, perhaps because it is reserved for the bold and versatile Fashionistas.

The Crop Pant is a challenge to wear. Probably because it’s a cross between stylishly preppy and casually chic, women are somewhat intimidated. You might be thinking, “Yea, right. Can a piece of cloth really do that?” Sure. Why do you think there are some types of clothes you love but still aren’t part of your wardrobe? Answer: You’re afraid to wear them. So, you start to think that they wouldn’t really look good on you anyway and you know very well that it can cause a major disaster for those who dare wear it yet are totally clueless. Like how some may wear this particular item. Uh, think sneakers.

Take heart! For the those women who want to venture into the world of crop pant-wearing Fashionistas you can if you really want to, just remember the following:

Rule 1 : Never overdo the outfit.

This item works well with streamlined style.

Rule 2 : Accessorize.

Belts are a must but not limited to. Wearing fashion accessories like earrings, bracelets, necklaces, bags are clear indications that you enjoy what you’re doing. Please refer to Rule 1 for guidelines.

Rule 3 : Wear the weather.

Translation: Consult the weather channel, we wouldn’t want you to ruin it by wearing a plaid winter coat, which happens to be the only thing you own, now, would we?

Rule 4 : Choose the Shoes.

This part is important because it basically gives you the idea of how the entire outfit will look.

Rule 5 : Whatever Suits You

That’s what style is all about anyway, it’s expressing you’re personality. Experiment and have fun!
